Thes shadows really remind me of Rimmel London's Colour Rush Metallique single shadows (they have a crown embossed on them). I believe that these shadows are discontinued now, but the way the Sunday Riley shadows glisten with shimmer and the way that they swatch it just seems so similar to the Rimmel shadows. I even think the packaging looks similar though not the same.

I'm still evaluating the packaging. The blushes and eyeshadows have the same compact shape but different designs. I tend to prefer some kind of consistency within brands. The lids of the shadows aren't cheap/flimsy but not heavy acrylic either - somewhere in between. It is nice to be able to see the color from the top though. Bottom line, I don't love it but I don't hate it either.

Thanks, Sabrina, for the tips regarding brushes and application. I've never let fallout deter me from trying a particular eyeshadow because I know that most--not all--can be avoided by using the correct tools and technique. The more important issue is always whether the shadow stays in place or drifts onto the cheeks during the day. Applying beautiful shimmer always seems to require a bit of planning :-)

I've been trying to limit myself to brands that I know and love (saving money and all that), but you make it so hard! I really like Leprechaun and Lady Godiva. Burnt Eggplant seems nice too. Fool's Gold looks gorgeous in the pan, but I am a little disappointed that it has such bad fallout when used dry. I think eventually I will need to check these out in person. Let's see if I will have the resolve to walk away without spending any money lol. Thanks for your lovely review. :)
