What an adorable gift...those bottles look absolutely divine. I've never been into L'Artisan myself; I'm more into amber-type scents, and their Ambre Extreme always smells a bit harsh to my nose. But it's probably time I checked them out again.

Your collection looks nice! I love how the Serge is towering above everything else, LOL.

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful coffret! I love L'Artisan's special sets, they always combine such lovely scents. Mure et Musc was my very first L'Artisan perfume- I will always associate it with a fabulous shopping trip to Barney's in NYC in '93. Gorgeous. I am lately obsessed with getting my hands on a bottle of La Chasse- really the prettiest gentle white floral perfume, don't you think? Your collection is an homage to elegant gentle perfumes. Perfection! xo

Lara, I couldn't agree more. So many unique brands are now hard to find because of the things you mentioned. I think if it were re-introduced to other distribution channels I agree that I think it would be well received.

The Future is Rosy, the storage tray was from Pottery Barn. It was in a sale section of the store this past summer, but I've seen them come out with new gorgeous trays every season. It was in their bed and bath area :)

I'm glad you've been having fun with the pretty gift. I have a bottle of La Chasse aux Papillons Extreme and enjoy it in the spring and the summer. Mimosa pour Moi is a little thin, I'd say. I wouldn't call it sweet, although it is feminine. It's got a hint of lemon as many mimosas do. My favorite l'Artisans are Traversee du Bosophore, Timbuktu, Premier Figuier, and Piment Brulant...oh! and of course, Cote d'Amour in the summer heat is perfection!

I worked as the L'Artisan rep at Saks in Houston when I got out of college almost 9 years ago. I can't believe it's been that long. It is definitely too bad the customers didnt embrace the unique qualities of the french line. I think it would be more well recieved if it relaunched at major stores in today's market.
