I never really had a huge thing for Chanel until I started reading your blog o.O I do think that Glossimers have a tendency to look more magical in the tube than they do on the lips though. Not all the time, but sometimes (that's what I tell myself to avoid going crazy and buying them all at once).
I love how Bon Bon and Bagatelle look in your swatches.

I have been trying to avoid the new spring collection until, well, spring. I'm still too deep into the blacks and silver/golds of the winter, and quite happy at that. I am *eagerly* awaiting the Nirvana cream e/s, though.

maybe I should have ordered Bon Bon, it looks fabulous. The thing that I find so wondrous about glossimers is that even if one looks very similar to another in the tube or on the arm, they're all distinctly different when on the lips. Each has it's own personality. Great photos.

Actually, I like their sheerness. The most milky, or sheer glossimers look the most sophisticated I think. I rarely wear those with a lot of pigment. My all time favorite must be 104 (astral) and 139 and 144.

I haven't had the chance to go in-store to play around with these yet--- it might have to wait until the new year! So many of the lip products from Spring 2011 were well done, I think it would be hard to choose! Bagatelle is certainly a standout since it's such a optimistic spring pink. I'm sorely tempted. At first, I just bought Éclosion, but went back for the blusher after scrutinizing all my other pink blush shades. I decided that it was different enough to warrant the purchase. I'm glad I decided to get it, because it has a soft glow finish that I find very attractive, very feminine, quintessentially springtime. I also picked up Le Stylo Yeux in Grenat (garnet). My eyes are a deep moss green and I have black lashes so I can easily pull off the garnet color without looking like a rabbit. I would imagine, though, that women with light eyes--especially blue--would have a hard time with this jewel toned red. Everything else I gave a miss; not because it wasn't beautiful, it's just that I already have many similar shades.

All considered, Chanel's spring collection has much to offer anyone who likes the peach-pink-garnet palette. If this collection wasn't your cup of tea, perhaps you'll find the Summer 2012 more exciting. It's all about burnished gold with a pop of tangerine or coral. You can see it in Chanel's preview book which is at all the counters. Just ask the SA to see it :-)

I'm pretty sure that your blog and cafe-makeup cemented my new-found addiction to Chanel :)

I have had the chance to play around with the Spring collection, and because I didn't get into Chanel make up last, everything looks beautiful to me :P But I do admit that I was somewhat disappointed with the glossimers because while they look beautiful in their tubes, the effects don't transfer on to lips. I bought Bagatelle yesterday because I felt that it was the most beautiful from the bunch and it actually shows up on my lips. I don't know whether I will buy Bon Bon or Pétillant, but there is a great chance that I will cave and get everything ToT
