Inside My Makeup Bag

I find it amazing how much I can cram into a little makeup pouch. Stacking and layering can make a huge difference in making room inside. This week is what I've had in my makeup bag:

1. Chanel Eyemakeup Remover mini | 2. Caudalie Divine Oil mini size (featured here) | 3. Chanel Stylo Yeux in Espresso (a classic rich brown) | 4. L'Occitane Amande Hand Cream | 5. Guerlain Crazy Paris Terracotta Powder (review here) | 6. Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau Solid Perfume (review coming soon) | 7. MAC Viva Glam VI Lipglass (a staple)  | 8. Tom Ford Cheek Brush | 9. Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Stretch Mascara (my current favorite mascara) | 10. Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Balm (review here) | 11. YSL Sheer Candy #12 | 12. Chanel Rouge Coco in Perle (lip swatch here) | 13. Tom Ford Nude Vanille Lipstick (swatched here) | 14. Chanel Le Jour Face Cream mini | 15. Aerin Mini Rose Hand and Body Cream

What's been in your makeup bag this week?

  1. Hi Sabrina,

I can't believe you fit so much inside a little pouch! Incidentally, I think the aforementioned pouch is my favorite element from this display --- I do have quite a weakness for animal print!

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau solid :)

  3. Hi Jennifer! The pouch was a gift with purchase from Laura mercier many years ago, wish they still made similar pouches!

  5. You have lots of lovely products. The Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Balm is something I have wanted to try for so long. The Guerlain Crazy Paris Terracotta Powder looks so pretty!

  9. My MU bag is the same every week, lol. :-O
    As of late, it contains:

    1) Chanel pressed powder.
    2) Guerlain Terracotta Light bronzer in "Blondes 02" and a brush. I haven't needed to touch-up, but I carry them with me for just in case.
    3) Lancome "Roses in Love" lipstick.
    4) Revlon "Blushing Mauve" lipstick.

  10. Haha impressive number of items in there! How do you keep your brush from getting splayed or losing shape in your bag?

  11. I have a feeling I will soon fall for Crazy Paris! I too keep a small size of Caudalie Huile Divine. :)

  12. Hahah, can you please come and stack items into my tiny make-up bag? ;) I'm using the same L'Occitane Amande hand cream - love it, just wish it wasn't so expensive!

  14. I love your blog and as for swatches NOBODY does it better! As well as complimenting my sense of color! What is missing? Eye color!!!! I am on a hunt for a duo/quad/new single and have spent an hour here exploring! Do you carry eye color with you, or there is no room!! I am a So. Cal person, Los Angeles born and raised and guessing we have passed one another in Neiman Marcus!! Long a reader, never commentated. However you have steered me toward many a purchase, and I mean this in a very good way!!!!

  15. I had never heard of the Caudalie Dry Oil before and checked it out. Dermstore had a 25% off coupon, so I ordered it to try. Wow! I usually prefer unscented body moisturizers so they don't conflict with my fragrance. This is a definite exception. It smells wonderful! Do you detect that it smells similar to Serge Luten Douce Amere? Only problem is, my skin just drinks it up and it is expensive. So much nicer, though, than the nasty smelling Clarins body oil I had been using.

  16. La brocha de colorete de Tom Ford me llama a gritos, pero comprarla sin poder verla me da un poco de miedo...
