Today's Cry Baby Lips + Nails Of The Day

I pulled out my Chanel Glossimer and Le Vernis Nail Color in Cry Baby which I found fitting for today's pouty mood. Both are super sparkley pinks. The base is a medium but sheer pink with tons of sparkle. They were both limited edition releases from 2004.

I'd say they are on the sheer side, the pink does show up on the lips and nails, but it's very difficult to photograph because the sparkles dominate with a flash or in direct sunlight. If these shades are your cup of tea, not to worry if you missed out. While nothing else I've looked at has quite the same beautiful sparkle quality, the good news is there are quite a few other products that can give you a similar effect (scroll down to the bottom for my dupe recommendations).
