I just want to say thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to share your thoughts, especially those who filled out my recent survey. I value the feedback you have all given me and cannot express how touched I was by some of your comments. It nearly brought me to tears I was so touched by how thoughtful and kind many of you were.
It meant a lot to me that so many of you took the time out of your busy schedules to tell me about your likes and dislikes!
Blogging has been a challenge for me lately. There have been numerous times I have wanted to throw in the towel and quit. I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I don't expect everyone to like what I do, but it's beyond me why some women love to hate! Why do they make it their personal mission to bash or insult someone they know nothing about? If those women hate me, my blog, or what I blog about, why do they keep visiting and reading my website?
Yes, I know I have way too many taupe eyeshadows, nude lip colors and peachy blushes. Those who "hate" those color categories, you will just have to accept the fact that I am indeed obsessed with those items and you will most likely see more posts about those at some point in the future.
Keep in mind, I'm in my 20's, I'm not a beauty professional and I'm still developing my sense of style. Isn't that part of the beauty of growing up?
Anyways - I thought I was becoming irrelevant to many of you, but your responses have given me the motivation to keep blogging. Silly as it may sound, I had no idea that any of my posts were interesting for so many of my readers. I am going to print out your responses and tack them on my bulletin board for daily motivation. As a blogger I will do my best to try and write about things many of you are interested in while still trying to stay true to my own personal style.
A special note to the woman who asked me why I let go of the yellow background - I was experimenting with templates due to a few feedback responses that said something along the lines of, "I hate to say this, but I don't like that ugly yellow background, please change it." I experimented with numerous color schemes but in the end gave up and resigned to using the basic white because it was the easiest for me. Perhaps one day I will reformat this blog into a more professional and interesting template. But for the time being - this is what is easiest for me to manage. Hope this answers your question!
