The new mineralize blushes are really pretty! Those with darker skins will really like the colors. I agree with the consensus among other reviews that these tend to be on the more shimmery side. They aren't overly frosty when applied with a lighter hand. Those who get oily/shiny fast or have larger pores, I'd say these will probably be a nay for you.
The cremesheen glasses are among my favorite gloss formula from MAC. I like that they repromoted some colors and mixed in some new shades. This gives me ideas on how to use the colors I already have with some new blush colors.

One last view of the my picks from Too Fabulous:
Thanks for this Sabrina!
ReplyDeleteI picked up my very first MSF blush in Two Virtues and I love that it's actually subtle on me and not that frosty. I also picked up Richer, Lusher, Trimmed in Pink, Loud and Louder and Double Dare - luckily the last two were B2Ms. I do want to go back for Rhapsody in Two or Buddy Up. I love these glosses simply for the fact that they do not give my lips an allergic reaction like lipglass and (my once HG) lustreglasses. I like the light scent, milky and nicely pigmented. I do not use pencils for Loud and Lovely and Double Dare. I love wearing Richer, Lusher on top of Fresh Salmon lipstick. With that combo I either use MAC Gingerly or NARS Gilda blush. I used Two Virtues w/Loud and Lovely and NARS Lokoum cream blush when I wore Double Dare. Thanks again for more ideas!!
Oooh Lexi! Tres chic! I need to try Richer Lusher over Fresh Salmon! Thanks for more ideas :) I love it.
ReplyDeleteAnytime girl - if anything you always inspire me =)
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't know if you picked up Viva Cyndi but Richer, Lusher looks great on top of that too! It tones down the red.
Great posts! I love the way you've created the little 'colour collections' for each blush - what perfect matches ♥

ReplyDeleteHi Sabrina,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love your blog! and your sense of fashion and color, I only wrote a comment once, but I checked everyday.
I wanted to e-mail you this message, but it seems I always enter the wrong code (?)
I saw your swatches for the P & J lip lacquers color (in tubes) , and I was wondering , if you only want one, which one will you choose?
I have very pigmented lips, and I for your FAQs we have similar skin tone, I don't wear foundation so I cannot tell you by number, I have olive undertones though.
Can I send you a picture of me, so you can suggest colors?
I am planning in buying some other stuff from P& J after seeing your swatches. I am eyeing at the Creamy Cheek powder in Marionette, and the Face Color in Risque. What do you think?
Thanks for a wonderful blog!
The Rhapsody Mineralize blush looks really pretty, but it showed up a bit too metallic for my taste, so I didn't get it at last. I wished it was less metallic, since I really loved the color! :/
