A Few MAC Too Fabulous Lip + Cheek Combinations

I've been playing around with my new MAC Too Fabulous Mineralize Blushes and Cremesheen Glass lipglosses all week and tried a few combinations for each product. Eye makeup was very low-key this week, only using a neutral cream eyeshadow + gel liner + mascara.


The new mineralize blushes are really pretty! Those with darker skins will really like the colors. I agree with the consensus among other reviews that these tend to be on the more shimmery side. They aren't overly frosty when applied with a lighter hand. Those who get oily/shiny fast or have larger pores, I'd say these will probably be a nay for you.

The cremesheen glasses are among my favorite gloss formula from MAC. I like that they repromoted some colors and mixed in some new shades. This gives me ideas on how to use the colors I already have with some new blush colors.

    I picked up my very first MSF blush in Two Virtues and I love that it's actually subtle on me and not that frosty. I also picked up Richer, Lusher, Trimmed in Pink, Loud and Louder and Double Dare - luckily the last two were B2Ms. I do want to go back for Rhapsody in Two or Buddy Up. I love these glosses simply for the fact that they do not give my lips an allergic reaction like lipglass and (my once HG) lustreglasses. I like the light scent, milky and nicely pigmented. I do not use pencils for Loud and Lovely and Double Dare. I love wearing Richer, Lusher on top of Fresh Salmon lipstick. With that combo I either use MAC Gingerly or NARS Gilda blush. I used Two Virtues w/Loud and Lovely and NARS Lokoum cream blush when I wore Double Dare. Thanks again for more ideas!!

    Also, don't know if you picked up Viva Cyndi but Richer, Lusher looks great on top of that too! It tones down the red.

  8. I love this Too Fabulous LEs, they are so gorgeous!! And I love the Cremesheen Glass texture, so considering of buying more of them. I have the blushes in SUn & Moon and Buddy Up and loooveee them =)

    First of all, I love your blog! and your sense of fashion and color, I only wrote a comment once, but I checked everyday.
    I wanted to e-mail you this message, but it seems I always enter the wrong code (?)
    I saw your swatches for the P & J lip lacquers color (in tubes) , and I was wondering , if you only want one, which one will you choose?
    I have very pigmented lips, and I for your FAQs we have similar skin tone, I don't wear foundation so I cannot tell you by number, I have olive undertones though.
    Can I send you a picture of me, so you can suggest colors?

    I am planning in buying some other stuff from P& J after seeing your swatches. I am eyeing at the Creamy Cheek powder in Marionette, and the Face Color in Risque. What do you think?

  14. The Rhapsody Mineralize blush looks really pretty, but it showed up a bit too metallic for my taste, so I didn't get it at last. I wished it was less metallic, since I really loved the color! :/
