A Week In The Life of Me: Monday's Look

Due to the recent thumbs-up I've received from some of my readers on recent "look of the day" posts, I decided to share my looks for this week which I hope will give you some ideas on how to coordinate various colors together. My challenge to myself is to use different products for each day of this week (basics such as powder, foundation and mascara excluded).

Today's look is admittedly a bit lazy since it incorporates unimaginative neutrals, but I love NARS Madly and this was a really easy look to put together.

Cheeks:

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Illuminator in Sunkissed applied on cheeks
NARS Madly Blush applied on top

Eyes:
Laura Mercier Platinum Metallic Cream Eyeshadow lash to brow
Paul & Joe Ingenue 001 Eyeshadow Trio
Urban Decay Underground 24/7 Eyeliner

Lips:
Laura Mercier Natural Lips Lipliner
Chanel Insouciante #81 Rouge Allure
MAC Boy Bait Cremesheen Gloss

Today's Outfit (release dates included for reference):
Banana Republic white sweater (from 2007), Citizens of Humanity Dita Petite Bootcut Jeans in Carbon Black (from last spring), Stuart Weitzman Wedges (from 2006), Marc Jacobs Small Cecelia Bag (from resort 2007).

If you have a look or outfit you want to share, please let me know in the comments or via email! Have a great Monday :)

You've pulled together an effortless casual spring look that would be perfect for our Southern California weather right now. Yesterday it was 80 and today is supposed to be the same.

Sabrina, you are so funny and great. I loved: "walk dogs, study international macroeconomics." Hey, you look fantastic, that's half the battle.
The soft neutral look you featured is one of my standbys, it's so interesting to see your ideas. When you have time due to your coursework, could you feature one of your color studies on neutral blushes like Nars Madly? Possibly comparing it to the late lamented Chanel Nude, Lancome Miel Glace, Laura Mercier Crushed Hazelnut?
Thank you for posting, have a wonderful day -- your posts always make mine more fun and creative with makeup and style.

Hi girls, thanks for all your sweet compliments.

To the anonymous commenter regarding NARS Madly/Lancome Miel Glace etc. Check out this post, I should have labeled it correctly so when you search, it pops up.

Is it sad that the one thing that got me the most excited about this post is "study international micro"?! I miss school!

Also that Paul and Joe palette is my standby lazy day eyeshadow, and NARS Madly is probably my favorite NARS powder blush!
