A Few Updates From Me . . .

Hello all my fellow readers, I wanted to give a few updates:

* Posting Frequency - My schedule has gotten a bit busier due to some last semester projects so I won't be able to post as frequently as I would like. I will try to do 3 per week and I will check my e-mail regularly if you have questions, suggestions or comments for me.

* I've Been Featured! I'm thrilled that someone contacted me to write a mini-review on my blog. Check it out at Beauty Undercover. They call me "The Investigator." I've written a few guest reviews for Makeup and Beauty Blog and Karlasugar, but this is the first time I've been featured as a blogger on a non-beauty-blog type of site.

* Some clarification on my name - I know this might be confusing for some of my readers who don't know my background. My name is Sabrina, but I have also used the screen-name Lina for various reasons (read my FAQ if you want more details). I apologize for any confusion - but starting today, I'll be switching my writing to my real name so it won't confuse any of you who e-mail me personally.

As always, I want to thank each and every one of you for your constant support, kind comments and for sharing your opinions and input with me about something we all love :)

Hi Sabrina, I love your unique blog but want you to succeed in your studies more. So crack those books, and post when you have time. We'll shop our stashes in the meantime....!

Ha - thanks for the name clarification. Sabrina/Lina - both very pretty names! Good luck in your projects...

congrats for your features - i've always found your reviews helpful. I blame all my EB/P&J obsessions on you =)

Thanks ladies :) I've never been great at studying. Academics are a weakness for me. After I graduate, no more school for me ever. Blogging actually relieves stress for me by giving me something else to think about :)

Lexi - let me know what you end up ordering from P&J :) If you want the Alice sets, I recommend you call fast. I was told BG only received 25 of each. I'm not sure if they are getting more later, but if they sold out, you can still definitely get it at other places.

Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiina!

I am so happy that you have been recognized on another site. That's awesome :-)

You *are* an investigator and we benefit from it tremendously. I was talking to a friend of mine last night (she reads your blog as well) and she mentioned she liked the posts where you mention your wardrobe and "MU look" for the day. The "what I am loving now" and group shots of color families are posts that I like best.

Anyways, you keep it fresh and are anxious to see what's new (as we all are, lol). I am so glad to see that more people are finding you.

Congrats!

Congratulations Sabrina on being featured at Beauty Undercover. You are a real standout in the world of beauty bloggers. As I make the rounds of some of the other sites, I can't help but notice how many times The Beauty Look gets mentioned. And, for good reason. Your blog is excellent.

As for your name, I just assumed that "Lina" was your nick-name, but Sabrina it shall be from this day forward.

Once again, congratulations Sabrina!

i read your FAQ and i read about you using bumble and bumble...as for suggestions:

try goldwell shampoo and especially the conditioner (the kerasilk line).

a hairstylist suggested using devacurl no-poo shampoo because it has no sulfates (which is basically putting dishwasher liquid in your hair).

i use bumble and bumble and its nice and currently using the coco line (shampoo, conditioner, and mask), but it's not HG status. i won't be repurchasing after my bottles are done.
