Came home with Thrrrob & Dandelion after having a good experience with Coralista. Both are on the sheerer side for me but give a nice subtle glow. Not too crazy about the packaging (feels like it will get dirty easily) or price (I feel $28 is overpriced for Benefit).

Also picked up Fawn Over Me Eyeshadow after having good results with Rich Beach eyeshadow. These are soft and highly pigmented. I definitely recommend you check the rest of the shadows out! Fawn Over Me is a pretty neutral beige shimmer.

Fawn Over Me compared to a couple other beigey shimmers.

Thrrrob is way too gritty and coarse for me. but dandelion and coralista, 10 are excellent. georgia is also a good one on me. i can't wear benefit dallas as it's too muddy. like all brands some are good from benefit and some are crap. many people complain about its tacky packaging. but surprisingly, it's really durable! Ha! in general, i quite like this brand so far.
ReplyDeleteThe shadow looks amazing! I love Coralista as well. Dandelion I apply all over my face almost like a setting powder since it doesn't have that much pigmentation. Gives a nice glow.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the creaseless cream shadows? If not, I'd recommend checking out Birthday Suit and Skinny Jeans.
Love your blog!

Lina, I agree with Michelle - Benefit Creaseless Cream eye shadows are amazing. Also, you should check out the Where There's Smoke powder eye shadow single if you already haven't =)
ReplyDeleteJojoba - thanks for the input, I will definitely check out 10 next time :)
ReplyDeleteMichelle/Joey - I do have a few of the cream eyeshadows and love them! I have Birthday Suit, RSVP and Samba-dy Loves Me. I've had my eye on Skinny Jeans/Where's the Smoke but have been holding out. I have a feeling I'll be buying one of them very soon.
Ooh that shadow is gorgeous! I have been getting more and more into Benefit products lately - nice haul :)
